And redoing 2 others..*sighs*
Anyway! I called your attention to this journal due to i have a job for you. There's this one part in my book where the girl and guy finally kiss, and i dont want to draw it out due to i'll ruin it, fer sure, and have the horrible image stuck in my head throughout the whole story and will just hate myself, k?
So, the mission? Draw the scene. Simple enough, right?
Here's the run down on the story so far:
Lily suffers beatings and verbal abuse from her step-father(so original, i know.), Jake. To escape daily life, Lily wonders around and bumps into John, the town deliquent. Not having anything better to do with herself, Lily follows John around, eventually being caught and invited into his hideout shack off the pier, they begin to talk and Lily discovers the rumors about him are completely untrue and that he might have a sweet side. Later that night, Lily and Jake end up in a physical fight, which results in major bruising and Jake's body unconsious and motionless at the bottom of the stairs. Running away from home, Lily seeks shelter at the only place she knows; John's shack. John stumbles upon her and after learning of the past event, his eyes turn red with rage, and he lets Lily in on some of his secret past. After a night event, John and Lily end up developing feelings for each other.
Okay, so thats all i got for now.
Character Description:
Lily - Thin; pale skin; long, black hair; green eyes; sorta punki/gothic(Feel free to add your own little details to her)
John - Tall; Honey eyes; Long, brown, wavy hair; style of clothing is mostly gothic-y;(Feel free to add your own little details to him)
But now, here's the scene:
With her clothes being held up to dry, and with only one blanket, she wrapped herself snug, and just stared at John. She had become attracted to him. He was sitting in the corner, across from her, shaking, but trying to hide it from her. She smirked, and crawled over to him, and leaned up against him, giving him half the blanket. Here, we can share. If not, youll catch hypothermia. Besides, body heat is the best way to stay warm. She stared at him, and for the first time, Lily witnessed a grin.
Yknow, its not too bad having you around.. John started to say.
Oh? she was amazed by his comment.
You could, stay here, if youd like.. he looked away as if he was embarrassed. Lily never had a true friend, nor had he.
Really? she asked.
Sure. Im lonely, youre lonely, together, we can keep each other company, I mean, we might as well. He finished, turning to her and looked in her eyes. The moonlights beams glistening in them, turning them from green to bright emerald. He was lost in them.
Im suddenly nervous.. she whispered, staring at him. His hand searched for hers, and once met, he leaned in and their lips connected.
Good Luck! & Thank you a lot! I'll repay you somehow or another!
